Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Sleeper VS. Showcar

    Hey...I wanted to know...If I should go all performance...or all looks on my Accord...

    I mean a kitted accord with rims and a wing...with neons, LEDs, dvd screens, dual 12" subs...(kinda extreme. but u get the picture...it looks ok...

    But Its so awesome when you see a bone stock(or so it appears) car smoke a fully modded ricer...

    So my opinion...

    I will just get a H22 swap...intake, exhaust, and maybe some exterior mods...like a lip kit...and retrofit projector headlights..and red/clear tails...but thats it.

    What do you guys think?

        You should go with your gut on your vehicle. What you want is what you're going to like best. Don't just do something because everyone think it would look "tight" or something like that. Just do what you want, mix up performance with style, go all performance, or go all style. It's all up to you. But if you want an opinion, what you have as your opinion so far is a nice setup. You would get the performance you wanted, as well as some looks. If I could add something, maybe a nice paint job would go well. Just my opinion. Good luck on what you decide to do!

          yeah...I just wanted to hear some opinions...thanks for the input bandit...and some pics of sleepers or showcars would be well appreciated...

              NAiL05...Your car is sweet bro...that's what im talkin about...what kind of muffler is that...I've seen it somewhere before...hows it workin for you? doent it have a valve in one pipe? like some BMW's?

                I say hook your car up for an equal in performance and and = in looks without attracting too much attention from cops,thieves etc. This is for the sleeper mode your car will be slightly safer because noone knows whats on the inside unless you tell em. And if they dont know what it is to the naked eye or someone who actually knows what it is ont he outside they wont catch on and your car will be somewhat safer.

                    But yea im doing a lil show a lil performance but more then likely mostly show cuz at the moment im not interested in doing a 5spd swap so id rather pimp my 93 out and collect another cb7 or an ek or something thats 5spd and make that my sleeper ::evil grin::

                      Lol nah man thats stock muffler thats rusted with one tip. Thanks though man.

                        Just try to view other pix of rides and then come to a decision of your own like what kind of parts or other stuff you want to fix up... So yeah stick with your own style...

                          Anyway. I would always fix a car starting with suspension ( I hate a sloppy riding car ). After that it's performance ( i hate a slow car ) then i'll prolly do some speakers before i get to the outside ( i hate...uhh..i'll get back to you ). As far as exterior mods, if it's not my weekend car and don't have to worry about nicks,scratches,sun burnt interior, etc i'd keep that heifer with stock EVERYTHING !!!!! ( as long as it's a 92-93 taillights i HATE lol 90-91 taillights ). The only thing i'd prolly put on is amber corners for the front and 5thgen ex alloys. But ehh, that's just mehz.

                          Like the theme for everyone else ... DO WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY !! ! ! ! ! ! ! !!! ! !

                          A medium that i've tried to live by is " If there was no1 else on earth to see your car, would you still be happy with it ? ". That pretty much puts most peoples mindset within a proper perspective and really makes them think " damn, do i REALLY need/want xxx ". Think about it.
                          I love the bouncy...it's great...
