ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Is it possible?

Has anyone ever took a sunroof out of an Ex and installed into an Lx? I can get the the sunrrof , headliner and switches for about a 100. Is it worth it (cost wise)?

It could be done, but you'd have to cut a hole in the roof of your LX... Further, you'd have to chisel out a place for the roof to slide into.

I'm not sure how difficult this would be for you personally, but I'd say it probably isn't worth it.

dont think it's worth it either, and plus if you F it up then your gonna have a leaky roof, and.....you'll be pissed when it rains

Unless you went custom and made it panoramic...where the sunroof folds up and a little bit like the eclipse's and not into the roof...but id still say unless youve got years of experience doing that kind of stuff dont try it cuz yea it would suck to have a leaky roof.....

I wanted to do the same thing but its EXPENSIVE. your better off getting an aftermarket one.

but if you still want to do it, just get the whole roof from an EX. take off your LXs roof & put the EX one in its place. its alot quicker. a roof swap in other words.

Doing an OEM swap like that is hard and requires a new roof because of diffferent fitment. I'D just leave it as is.

You are the definition of insanity.

The amount of time, money, blood, sweat, tears, and general anger and confusion is at least twice what it would take to simply sell you LX, and buy an EX.

Not only would you get a sunroof, you would get a slightly more powerful engine, and actual alloy wheels, just to name a few of the extras.

But whatevs, if it makes you happy, go for it!
