According to this website they are not $22 but a total of around 8 without shipping or more likely 10 picked up at your local dealer per side. So with that said its like $20 for all four. This was for a 91 4dr by the way. Just to clarify you guys are talking about #4 and #17 right?

ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Ultimately, I would stand with TypeG on this one. There is a right way to fix it and the wrong WAYS to fix it.
If you fix everything with ghetto glue and ducktape to save a couple $$, so you can fix everything else too, what are you left with?
A hacked up ghetto rigged ride that is a peice of crap.

I'd combine both. That is when getting new gaskets (or if you uncover gaskets that are still good in a pull it yourself yard) make sure they are sealed properly, don't you need gasket sealant for this? Also make sure the lights themselves are tightly mounted to the body.'92 Accord LX Sedan--Bordeaux Red Pearl --OEM--279k Daily Driver

i know it, but my cb7 dont cost me a lot of money.. and i preferred to put my spare cash on more important fix like brake and suspension piece... its a little tricks that do the job very well.. i dont want to get a show car.. i just want to dont get water in it!!! but your opinion is true, im thinkin in the same way. but when my trunk is closed, we didnt see the scellant anymore..and i want to add that I DONT USE DUCK TAPE ON MY CAR!!!! heheheh
for the price of the gasket i was thinking that will cost much more thant 22$... my friend had an dc4, and he paid 65$ for a set... that the principal reason why i put scellant... i didnt go to the nearest honda dealer to know hom much it's cost...

Yeah Nowkear, I don't know for certain and I'm not one to rag, but TypeG isn't rich I think, his car doesn't look that good b/c he paid a body shop to paint it and put all that clear and polish it. He did it all himself, and writes a lot of nice DIY stuff on here that helps everyone. Some peeps just have to have OEM from the dealer and the rest of us are happy with a ghetto rig from Lowes (like me, sometimes, lol )

It's not really noticeable, since it's clear silicone. Doesn't look "hacked up". The price for all 4 gaskets is around $50 from majestic honda.

You can't rationalize cars like these. They're not something you buy with your head, you buy them with your heart because you love them, and who can explain love?
