ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    hello, i'm new.

just got my CB two days ago. it's a manual tranny 2 door, painted OEM gold with OEM red interior. it's already got a cold air intake, a racing clutch and racing transmission and it's had some engine work done. the oil sending unit is leaking somewhat, though not enough to cause a problem just yet. it also has Acura wheels on it. i traded my 1991 toyota 4runner to my friend for it, and it's a beauty to be sure.

I'm going to paint the interior black and purple, probably, not sure yet. black and SOMETHING. i've already taken the driver's side door trim/panel thingy off and painted all the vinyl black and it looks pretty neat with the burgandy fabric, although i'm probably going to paint that too. the door handles are already painted in-your-face red from the previous owner, and they didn't do too good of a job, either. i'm gonna have to fix that...

after that i'm going to work on the exterior. well, after that im actually going to work on the audio and THEN the exterior. i'm in between going for JDM black bumpers or a body kit. either way the car is being painted black.

i want to get some neons and some cool interior lighting, as well.

anyway you'll all see me around these forums quite a bit i imagine.

    toodles!

HORRA for newbies. But seriously like maroonaccord2.2 stated before, Search when you have a question. The answer your looking for may not always be easy to find, but it's usually out there.

The Alezzas were on it when I got it, I've thought about going to red/clears... Either that or wait until I paint the whole car black and get black Altezzas, I'm not sure.

Oh hey --- you have TL rims. Those particular ones are hella hard to find. I forget the year, but it was just before they switched to 5-lug.

In all actuality I don't really know. I was just told that it's a new transmission and clutch. Could be the stock stuff, but alls I can say is the clutch grabs as soon as you let off of it - it doesn't take anything at all. So there is definitly a new clutch involved at the least.
