Hey, I'm looking to buy some projectors for my 91 coupe. Where is a good place to get them? I was told before that the ebay ones have bad output and that the best way to go in retrofitted. Let me know please. Thanks

ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Best way is retrofit. Most popular is a TSX projector retro which you can read up about on this DIY:

Well since you had to ask I am pretty sure you should not perform a retrofit yourself. Unless you have friends who know retrofitting or if you want to pay someone to do it (which will end up more then the ebay ones) then ebay is your only source.Originally posted by Pnoyballar23Hey, I'm looking to buy some projectors for my 91 coupe. A retrofit could also be done on the eBay-style projectors as well, although I haven't tried that approach yet.1992 Accord LX - SOLD

That's a nice thought, but there's little to no one willing to fork out the money for the parts and labor involved to assemble a PROPER retrofit.Originally posted by joba356Someone should start making the retrofitted ones for us nontalented ppl, they could make some good money,im willing to pay for a well made pair. Also Racing Gear im loving your's, like how u have the whole blackhoused retrofit, i don't really like the half and half.
I have almost $500 in just housings/projectors/ballasts/various hardware. Then account for close to 50 hours that I have into my personal project.
There's no way I would do a retro for any less than $250 AFTER parts.....it's just not worth my time.

The car is not mine...but I did the retro for him.Originally posted by joba356Someone should start making the retrofitted ones for us nontalented ppl, they could make some good money,im willing to pay for a well made pair. What do you mean by half and half? Only the outside trim is blacked out....the high & low beam reflectors were still left chrome.
I will eventually retrofit the spare 1 piece accord JDM lights just like the ones I posted but not right now as I have a few other jobs I need to get through first.
I will keep you in mind when I get to that stage.
