Ok, So I love my sound, I have read multiple books on car audio ect... to best fit my car with some of the clearest sound possible. Today I got board and decided to go out and make my rear speaker *rattle* go away while keeping good sound.
Ok I have some 6.5" Visonik 4 way Full range speaker sitting in the back. (A set I had sitting around) I had to shave down the original plastic casing the speakers sit in because these are a lil bigger... (Ugly, but does the job)
To do this job I used:
10mm ratchet
philips screw driver
2x plastic flower pots ($0.50 yard sale)
1x can vinyl & fabric paint
ok First I took the speakers out the car and then apart (you can see they are blue with gray fabric)

Here you can see the cut to fit the speakers...

Here are the pots

Testing the fit

Here it is now painted black

and the foam in the pot ( I know its hard to see but its not completely full, I layered the bottom, and then hit the sides... I can stick my fist down inside)

Here is the first one done and ready to be put back (I cut a hole in the side for the wires to pass thru)

And here they are side by side before and after

Ill update this after both are done and put back to let you know about the sound difference.
