Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    2k Antenna swap

    OK ok i know that there is a DIY on this and a whole bunch of info on it but since im new i cant post under the correct thread so i appoligize for that but i was just wondering if anyone still has the kits for sale on this or if anyone has answers to the problems in the DIY. Thanks in advance!

    Oh and btw this is my ride. Not to much done to it yet and its an auto i know but for 2375 and the cond its in i had to pick it up...im deff looking into the 5spd conversion just dont know if its cost efficent for me to just sell it and buy a 5spd and swap the parts ive bought so far. But she's got Jdm black housing projectors, clean turn signals, red/clear tail lights(these are older pics) leather interior with pinstriping, wood grain accents, and m3 power mirrors.

    - and i know its badged an SE, im a lil confused on this myself because its badged an Se, got the leather and wood grain and the 2.2 that the se comes with but the door says 2/92 and i was told Honda dropped the SE in 91-92 and only had it for the 90 and 93 models so if someone can shed light on this too that would be cool. Car fax for my vin says its a 92 Ex/Exr so i just call it and SE since it does have all the SE options

        There was never a kit? You just bought the parts the person listed on the DIY from the OEM and your local home depot.

          If I'm not mistaking, (someone correct me if I am...) the SE models only run in an even numbered year, and I think every forth year they introduce a new SE model. I'm pretty sure that's what a sales person at my local Honda dealership told me. Hope this helps!

            Well there was a dude selling kits and he stopped answering emails so i was wondering if there was anyone still selling kits anymore but i went ahead and bought all the peices off of Majestic and ill just figure out the odds and ends because its fun anyway cant be too hard.

              so if that stands as true then i do have an SE cuz it says 2/92 in the door jam and i read somewhere that if its the first 6mos of the year its that year but the second half of the year its the next year ex: 2/92 would make it a 92 but 7/92 would make it a 93...not sure how true that is but figured id throw it in.

                well, your projectors are not JDM, someone just put that up in the ebay auction. SE models were only in 91 and 93. And did not come with woodgrain. Looks like the last owner of your car put the leather and woodgrain in himself.

                  SE was in 91 and 93. which would make sense, since youre car was manufactured in 1992, and the 1993 model year cars were sold in 1992. heres the easiest way to check, does your car has a passenger side airbag? it was exclusive to 1993 SE.

                    i was about to say the same thing lol well you beat me to it ...but what color is that i didnt think se came in any other color other than mine and gold...if it is infact a 93

                      Ok yea i got a passenger side airbag so then i guess it makes it a 93 se...ok badass. Thanks. And its like a dark ass green and i dont know if its the original paint but i think it is because when i picked it up i had the trunk roof and hood repainted cuz they were faded. And yea i kind of figured the headlights werent JDM but im waiting on getting an actual set.

                        yeah I was about to say that it looks like an SE to me because of that dark green SE exclusive color. I almost bought one back in the day exactly like yours.

                        the part that is strange is that it was manufactured back in 2/92. that seems a little early to be making a 93 model. however, i believe all the SEs were made in Japan so that might have something to do with it.

                            Yea it is odd because in the door jam clear as day it says 2/92 and yes it is a japan model because it also says that in the door jam. Either way im just happy to know its an SE cuz it was driving me nuts and i aint trying to drive around in a DX badged an SE ha! But yea thanks she is coo and i got hella plans for her.
