ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.
2 of 2 < >

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

The main reason for it being so clean and taken care of was that it has only been owned by one other person and now me. This person was an old lady about in 50s or 60s when i bought it from her. I was told that it was taken cared of by her and that it was always kept tuned up.

Well I think its looks great because an old lady had it; my brother bought a one owner car with 112k miles and it did not look that clean Maybe is that there so much damn salt here! KEEP THAT CAR CLEAN!

Lucky you for getting one owned by an old lady.
I don't know who the PO on mine was, but it was pretty nasty inside when we got it. We had to retint the windows, pretty much pull & clean all the carpet, put some seat covers on the front seats, and put an engine in it (F22A1 unfortunately).

dang that sucks, that you had to go through so much for yours. I plan on tinting the windows, but for right now it seems like really nice summer car with the windows all down and sunroof back. Where would be a good place to find the legend front lip to give it more of the aggressive look to it?

JY seems to be where most people find theirs, or classifieds here or craigslist.
I'm planning on getting mine looking better, but I need to get my dad to sign the title to me. He doesn't seem to like me doing anyhting to it.

ohh okay. well the cold air intake just came in. Its going to be put on at the same time im doing the valve cover gasket and other tune ups. I havent placed it yet but where would the filter sit when the cold air is fully installed? right under the battery, right on the passenger side

From what I've seen on a friend's car, you'll probably have to relocate your battery to fit the CAI. He couldn't get the lower half to fit with the battery there, so he kept it as a short ram for now til he can relocate the battery to the trunk.

yeah thats what i thought that the battery will be able to stay in the same location. This Saturday im going to be doing a tune up for her. I took it up to the ol' honda dealership near me and they found a valve cover leak, so im getting that replaced, when i do that im going to paint it the valve cover a type r red color, doing a complete oil change, and installing the cold air. In the interior im gonna touch up the leather spots i was talking about earlier

Thanks man. yeah, I'm going to post up before and after pictures before and after the changes this Saturday. Hopefully it goes well. The only problem I have so far is that my rear defroster isn't working. I've been told to check the fuses and the lines across the window to see if there are any breaks in them, but I haven't came across any and the fuses are still in good condition. Any idea?
