ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Possible new gauge cluster

I was bored earlier, had a spare cluster and some spare plaid material that I had from my speaker covers on the door and rear shelf, figured I'd see what it would look like on the cluster. Let me know what ya think, I know it's a little rough, this was just a trial. If I decide to do this with my cluster, I'll make it look better.

Any and all comments are welcome.

I think it looks awesome!!! not a fan of the colour but if it matches other stuff in your interior, then why not

I have a blue interior and as stated, I covered the front and rear speaker covers in the same material.

I'm still undecided as to whether I want to do it or not, as stated above, after a while, it may become an eye sore. And the cluster I have in my car doesn't have amber numbers.

It was just an idea I came up with the other night, thought, I've never seen a gauge bezel like it, had some left over material, figured, what the hell...

it's cool cause it matches other parts in your interior. If it didn't, I'd say no. But if you do decide to keep it, make sure your lines are perfectly straight, especially left to right, parallel to the bottom edge of the gauge cluster.

I just looked at that pic, I see what ya mean.

And yeah, I've never seen cloth on a gauge bezel either, that's 1 of the reasons I thought about doing it, just wanted to be different
