Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    My new side of rice

    Every once in a while I see something I HAVE to have for my car. This time it's a metal foil sticker.



    Now I just have to decide where to put it. Definitely under the hood. I'm thinking SRI tube or the sheet metal in front of the radiator.

      Metal brace over radiator for sure. Dead center and oriented to read as you view into the hood. Only more motivation now to turn that car into a beast!

        That's what I was thinking! A little bit at a time! I need to clean out the garage so I can get it in there and do the IM and cam swap this winter. I've got the a6 IM, H23 UP, and Jeff is holding a H23 TB for me. I'm planning on bisi's phenolic IM spacer and another IAB plate and my a6 cam. I think that might be the end of building this engine. After that it starts to be more than bolt ons. I'm going to try to buy an extra f22ax longblock after the holidays (it might be WELL after!) and start building it a little at a time. That'll let me do it without the coupe being undriveable, and I can teach Snowboarder and Blueblur a little something about engines.

        Besides, this sticker should give me at least five more ponies than a vtech sticker!

          put it on your fourhead!!! you wont pic up any ponies, but, since its a metal foil instead of a vinyl, the wieght of it will balance foward, improving steering!!!
          you'll love my nuts!

                    Yeah, I think you're right. I figured it probably was when I first saw it. It's still going to look sassy under the hood!

                    *edit* I would be interested in a translation of the kanji though. For all I know it could say:

                    "The American idiot that put this on his car is a fool - He sucks donkey scrotum 'FOR COMPETITION PURPOSES ONLY' If you've seen him sporting it, please call NO:002100"

                    But I sure hope it doesn't!

                            The top line says Wangan Shiyoh which loosely translates to "For Wangan Use" (Wangan is an area of Tokyo).

                            The second line....not a clue. Looks more Chinese than Japanese plus I can't really see the first few characters.

                            Bottom line is also kinda unclear but it looks to say Nihon Kanto-bu Jidousha Kenkyuu-jo which means Japan Kanto-area Car Research Facility and then some fake looking ID number.
