Bad News. :(

well today,
I got some pretty bad news.
Weeks ago my dad went to the doctors because he was
having issues breathing and was short breathed,
well he went to the doctors and they took x rays and on this xray
and an xray they took months ago they seen a pulmonary artery that was blocked and was restricting blood to his heart.
well he went to the doctor again today and they said more than likely his heart
is going bad. This definetely is not news a 18 year old son wants to hear.
Im pretty shooken up and upset about it.
I mean a 18 year old son possibly lose his dad at 38 years old?
thats not something someone wants.

im just very upset and sad by it and needed somewhere to vent.

he smoked in his younger years. But hes been a chewer since then. But as of today he decided hes quitting. He took a half of can of copenhagen and dumped it down the drain. So hes completely quitting. Hes gotta go for a ultrasound of his heart now. who knows what will happen. I guess from hearing this news i assume the worse and brings tears to my eyes.

my goddaughters grandpa had quadruple bypass back in November, are the doctors gonna operate or what

dont know yet. Right now there just gonna take a ultra sound of his heart to find out more.

Ill try to keep everyone posted.
Im still very worried.
Definetely gonna try to take advantage of spending as much time as i can with him.
It definetely bothers me though to think if something would happen to him yeah i would be able to handle myself but also i have a 7 year old sister and i would just hate to see her go through something like that at 7 years old and live the rest of her life without a dad. Im really choked up about the situation right now guys. Really i dont know if i could handle losing my dad.

I've been on both sides of that scary coin. I ended up not having a heart problem, but it's scary until you know. And they still haven't figured out what's wrong with my dad.
You've gotten the advice: enjoy the time you spend, try not to worry, be there for him. He's gotta be worried and scared. Keep your head up, brother. He's a couple years youngr than I am, he should have a lot of years left in him.
