ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    Concrete mix question

My buddies car got broken into, they punched the lock.messed up the custom painted trunk (the paint was a flawless metallic orange/copper color) and stole his $70 1000 watt amp. (Came with the car) He's more upset about the jacked up paint and sheet metal than the amp. He knows who did it (We all know who did it) and as he was was plotting reve... I mean discussing things that would mess up a car, he suggested pouring dry concrete mix into the gas tank. This led to a discussion about whether or not the gasoline would cause the chemical reaction that makes concrete set up. I say that being petroleum based, there's no H2O to cause the reaction, he thinks that simply by being liquid it will work. I don't doubt that it will mess up the fuel pump, filter and injectors, but will it actually set up?

Even if it does not properly cure, it'll definitely fuck up his car.

i doubt it, considering the gas tank doesnt air out and evaporate and allow it to cure. itll run like shit until everything clogs probably, depends how much is in there id imagine. though itd be pretty obvious that it was done by a person, not just mechanical failure... lol

Oddly, and not well known, concrete cures best under water (At least that's what I was taught) It's a chemical reaction not a dehydration process. I just don't think it'll react to gasoline though, for that reason.
If it was a dehydration process, it would just dry out and break apart easily and turn back into the same thing you had before the water was mixed in. It also doesn't stop curing for a long long time. it just keeps getting harder. They say that concrete that's 75, 100 or more years old is as hard as stone.

I think it would be just as harmful and less noticeable to dump brake dust or brake lathe shavings into the gas and or the oil.

        hypothetically speaking of course.

Use a liquid thickener. Like Simply Thick or Thick it, it does need to be stired but if you don't stir it it will clump up in the tank.

You can by it at most drug stores.

We're not trying to hypothetically hurt anyone, especially not some innocent person he runs into! lol
Sugar doesn't do anything. It doesn't dissolve in gas (no water shows it's face again!) and it can't get through the filter. Even back in the day when it might have reached the engine, it was more of an abrasive problem (like sand), and it still is much softer than the engine walls. It also doesn't carmelize due to the lack of H2O.

                  Couple ideas

1.) If you have access to his engine bay, disconnect/remove all the grounds.

2.) Drill a couple holes into his exhaust system.

So, pouring concrete mix into his gas tank wouldn't be a headache?

                            There's always room for jell-o!!!!
I had a kid that used to live down the block from me that was always f***ing with my car. Well one night after seeing him key my car. I was good and pissed off. I went to the store and bought enough jell-o to make 3 gallons worth and poured it in his gas tank. Needless to say, it jellied up the fuel from the tank all the way to the injectors. the sad part is, he f***ed with so many peoples cars that he didn't know who did it.
