ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

might try that other place...I went back and talked with the older dude that is normally up front. He told me 125 for the knuckles, brake parts, two lower control arms, one trailing arm.
$45 for the exhaust manifold
$75 for rack and pinion
$75 for intake plenum with throttle body (h23)
thinking about the intake...I don't think it's worth it...especially since I may be able to use my grandfathers laith to open the tb up and match the the plenum...I don't think the h23 plenum is goine to bump up hp enough to warrant that cost.
Also I can get a header off ebay for around the same price...course I don't know what shipping is just yet...I'll have to see. I don't know if that 45 included the downpipe
rack and pinion I'll pass on...just drive the spare car while I rebuild it.__

Ok so someone backed into my front fender, guy wants to not go through insurance so I'm checking prices.
Oreilly, primered brand new 58.82
that plus the auto paint comes to 124 something...I don't have a spray gun...so I figure...jy will be cheaper....and while I'm there might as well replace the other fender and hood and bumper (my exp of course on the last ones)
That young guy at Joe Boys (same place as before) quoted me $350 for two front fender, hood, and bumper cover (w/o supports).
WTF??
So I go..."Oh, ok how much for just two fenders?"
150
So that's
150 for two USED front fenders that I HAVE TO PULL (75 a piece for mathematically inclined)
200 for hood and bumper cover.
I think I'll take my business elsewhere...or am I wrong here?__

shit if folks can get the parts I'm looking for a good price I will reimburse + shipping...but I've got to find that one other yard first before I resort to that.
There are literally 2 good yards..well one now...within 35-40 min of me. Maybe 3 if I drive further.Last edited by bcjammerx; 03-18-2009, 01:34 AM.__
