ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.
2 of 2 < >

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

      02 wrx?
95 civic hatch with a gsr state refed matched with a type r tranny n billstien suspention and all the way around cross drilled brakes????
      or my v8 LS1 power 6 speed camaro Z28????
cum on dude its all fun n games u win some u loose some but who cares if u loose u try n make things beter fast so mayb next time u c that person u leave em n shock wen u actually keep up
quit tryn ta look at numbers cuz they DONT MATTER cuz what really maters is the driver and if he not afraid to have some fun and push his machine as hard as he can
people told my tech u cant drift a stock corolla with only 87hp
wat did he do show them its possible its hard u just gotta adapt to wat u got if u can u can if u couldnt well u try harder

yeah i understand the mustang drivers playing. they always do. but then they get an attitude when you beat them. lmao.

and the numbers kind of do matter. you think a 150whp civic is gonna beat a 600 Skyline down the track? yeah. they kind of matter. when you get those stop light encounters you always have to run numbers in your head. its like this:

you pull up to the light and a civic rolls up next to you. examine his car 1st to see fi you have a potential beat down by a guy in a lighter car.

-if your really in tune with cars, you can tell by the rev if he's pushing anything. does he sound like he has power?

-look at his suspension and brake set up. does he have a drilled/slotted rotors with some expensive looking rims?(this depends on the area. some guys i know that run 11s and 12 in the 1/4 DD on steelies or some kind of stock rims while in other areas like Tony's(1990ex) will have some. aftermarket rims).

i saved myself a beat down one day visiting 1990ex and the rest of Underground.Society. pulled up to a light and '02-'03 VW golf pulled up next to me. i was JUST about to rev on it and then i saw a full roll cage. no one is gonna put one of those in for the heck of it. then my friend Mike pointed out the Porshe calipers with the 16" drilled/slotted rotors. as we eased off fromt he light, i saw a blacked out intercooler. needless to say, i didnt rev on it or even shift too high. lmao.

numbers do help. someone who does 9s in the 1/4 on a regular basis WILL slaughter someone in a next to stock car that does 15s. not arguing. just a little insight and advice but of course, they have to be a good driver to do those 9s. lol. sorry for the long read.

both are slow....but a stock F22 Accord will walk away from a stock D16 Civic
I thought my Civic was kinda slow and then I looked up videos of a stock Civic doing 0-100 and man that is freaking SLOW, I would take a stock accord over a stock civic

Forget that ish, i would have given him everything i could. I would like to just hear it fly away. Il run against anything. It's all in good fun for me.

And you know, that roll cage could have been precaution because he is REALLY afraid of rolling his car and dying. the big brake kit could have been something he saw that was awesome (because it actually is. Porsche 16" brakes ) and a lot of people put FMIC on their golfs from the "look".

a buddy of mine did. had an awesome BOV and said he was pushing 24 psi on a stock motor. I rode in his car and it pulled but i wasn't impressed. especially when he didn't walk away from me.

You never know until you try and you can win without the motivation to never lose again.

yeah i guess they do mater a lil lol
well i have cross drilled brakes on my car sux u cant c em cuz of the dam oem rimsthey great werent expencive either
well the thing is round here crazy ricers no offense freakin put roll cages just cuz lol
i know its sorta wierd but yeah they do
i listn very very well to what they got listened to plenty of cars exhaust and motor sounds throughout ma life so prety much
i have an idea if they got heat or not
im not racin like crazy round town or nuthin either just once in a while im alone and that one car pulls up
n looks like he wanna have a lil fun so i go at it

the thing is i try n keep up n get infront of them dumb/cocky/idiot drivers that tailgate when
im allready goin 5-10mph over the speed limt wen we r on a 2 lane road
so my pissed off ass punches it to the next car gets next to it if i c its goin slower than the speed limit
and then i just slow on down next to him and let the idiot behind me suffer a lil for bein an idiot
thats my actual reason of y i tryed to stay infron of that v6 stang
to make him suffer a lil by slowing his ass down ohh if they tailgate again
IM SURE TO BRAKE CHECK HIS ASS SEE IF HE DO IT AGAIN!!!
