Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    I hate letting others drive my CB.....

    how should i let people know (without being a dick) that i am not comfortable with anyone else driving my car?

    i got in a big fight with my chick tonight cause she doesnt understand why i dont let other people drive my car. not that i dont trust her overall driving skill, i just dont feel she is used to having to drive a lowered car the way i am.
    there are plenty of hazards after all for us dropped guys.

    am i alone?

      im the exact same way. its fine.

      fights are worth saving your exhaust oil pan and lip.

          that is a good point as well.
          i was more worried about cracking the tranny.

            lol I told her she breaks she fixes!!
            But on a good note, she fell in love with CB7's ever since she drove it! She's looking into getting a CB7 now!

                Anyways, i dont have that problem. I also got an SE coupe which is only lowered on a sport drop and its Auto.

                NOBODY drives my white one. Im the only person that has driven it since i got it in Jan. 08

                Well, the bodyshop guy moved it from the shop to a parking spot. And excalibur02 drove it from his house to his job.

                  your white cb is easily one of the nicest cars on this site. i am seriously envious of it.
                  i wouldnt let anyone drive it either.
                  that thing needs a fingerprint scanner instead of a keyslot to make sure it stays where you leave it.

                      Only 2 other people that own similar cars have ever driven my car.
                      No-one really asks if they can drive my car, and if anyone does ask, the answer is No. Simple as that
                      You want to argue with me about my decision/car thats fine, I'm sure your capable of walking to a bus stop.

                        I don't mind my wife driving my car, her cb is lower than mine. The thing that pisses me off is when she drives it, or when I drive it and her kids, or anyone else for that matter is in the back and they leave their fucking garbage back there. HOLY FUCK!! that shit annoys the fuck out of me

                          Thanks man, people have seen all the hard work i've put into that car, so i guess thats why they dont ask.

                          But when icedplaya learns how to drive a 5spd, im going to let him drive it.

                            i wouldnt mind if her car was lower than mine and she knew how to drive it.
                            but she drives a CRV and thinks everything has the suspension of an SUV.
