I Hit A Deer!!!

I was driving home from a party last friday night, sober by the way, and as i came around a curve going about 50mph i saw a deer running out of the ditch and i tried to slow down but couldnt avoid it. Not shown in the picture is the deer feces that i had to scrub off my hood and windsheild from my cb7 literally knocking the shit out of the deer.

when i hit it i heard a splatter on my windsheild and assumed it was blood and then i got home and saw it in the light and realized what it really was.

dont worry im keeping it alive. i just picked up a black hood from the junkyard im not so sure how i like the black but i cant afford to repaint it right now. it shattered the left headlight and dissentigrated the corner light which should be replaced this weekend and the radiator cracked at the top here the knobs come through the radiator bracket and those are being jb welded right now.

Man sorry to hear about that a long time ago I hit Bambi in my 300zx doing about 75 and destroyed both the deer and my car.

bummer dude...Looks like a fairly easy fix though. You should see the toyota in our body shop right now. That thing was demolished by a deer!

Anyway, something that seems to always work for me when I see deer is laying on the horn. Deer are somewhat blinded by headlights yet not afraid to run in front of them. Anytime I see a deer heading for the road I lay on the horn and it immediately turns around. I know at this point it's too little too late, but maybe everyone else who reads this will keep it in mind for future reference.
