ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

The only place i'm getting my information now is from google so obviously if i type in "spider population in NV" i'm going to read about a bunch of horror stories. Which is why i'm asking people on the forum to discuss their living / spider conditions.

Scott the information about your parents is pretty much exactly what i'm looking for. What area of AZ are they in and can we stay with you when we come visit

Josh - thanks for the info. I looked up the average Temps and snow fall out there and thats nothing. lets just say the high here today is 27* and thats just about average.

I would love to join you down in FL. I Love the heat and don't really mind humidity. How bad are the bugs in your area?
They are on the western border in the desert. I am in the middle of the state in the mountains.

Spiders are really quite simple. No food, no spiders. If you just let things run, then yes they are more persistent.

The idea of no state income tax is too important to overlook. Being that Val and I will both be self employed, 6% of our combined annual income is going to be a significant number.

I do realize states with no income tax make up for it in other ways with property and sales tax, but I can assure you the difference in property tax will be negligible compared to the income tax we'll owe.

Besides, Delaware is not much different than Massachusetts climate wise.

DE is MUCH better than MA in the winter... I'm about 20 minutes from the border, so it's technically my area Summer is about the same... a little warmer.

I'm self employed now. State income tax isn't all that significant, after writeoffs. Federal is the one that hurts... and you get that anywhere!

DE has no sales tax, and no property tax (I don't believe...) and it's also quite close to many large cities (Philadelphia, DC, Baltimore, NYC). As a lawyer, Val's opportunities for a high paying job will be greater... unless she's expecting to jump into a private practice soon after finishing school...
You... could find a way to make money living in a shack in Siberia, as long as you had an internet connection... so location would be less important for you.

How about Michigan, the winters ain't that bad...NOT! Stay away from here! As far away as possible!

I would vote for either Florida or Tennessee. Personally, I'd go Florida. I've been out there a few times and it is awesome.

I did a little research on the Palmetto but... creepy as hell but still better than a spider. Plus they seem to be easily controlled compared to spiders.

I've never had any real exposure to iguana's or lizards for that matter. Are they really an issue and is there a way to deal with them
lmao.... there was a little sarcasm in that part... if you could hear me say it you would notice.... but no. not really. But further south iguanas get pretty fricken huge. like 4-6 ft head to tail sometimes.

Some are orange too. From eating roadkill and other small animals. those are the best.

I believe the rain is mostly concentrated west of the Cascades.

And yes, you and Eric could stay with me when you come visit, as long as I have enough notice to plan ahead. None of this Griswald's in laws stuff...
