ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.
2 of 2 < >

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Prelude to s500

Basically I had to post this up when i saw it. ha. http://columbus.craigslist.org/pts/1798531687.html prelude to sl500.

    Edit:

    94 HONDA PRELUDE H22 TO S500 MERSEDES

I transform the outside look to the new S500 Mercedes with GT factory lambo door.
under hood: AEM cold air intake and AEM pulley, DC sport header, strut bar, oil cap.

Inside car: custom black and red leather seat, custom Mercedes shift knob,
carbon fiber dash trim, Kenwood DVD head unit with 6.5 Boston component with tweeter.
In trunk: custom speaker box wrap with black and red leather with One 12' W6 V2 ,
2 JL amp run the mid and sub. Suspension: blue tokiko strut with ground control coilover
and a complete greedy Evol 2 cat-back exhaust system,
car run on a set of 18' american racing (casino) chrome wheel with Bridestone tires RE950 225/40R18.
I spend $10K for the S500 Mercedes and the lambo door conversion.
Head light from Germany $1000, taillight USA dealer $500,
bought GT factory lambo door kit at SEMA show in Vegas 3 year ago $500.
Labor for lambo door $2000, labor for S500 Mercedes head lights and taillights conversion $6000 including paint the car.

The work looks great, and it's not too ugly, but I'm afraid I'd have to blow the doors off of it if it was next to me at the light, preferably after saying some derogatory things about spending that much money to make it look like a Benz. It sounds like he's got more money than sense, I mean, someone charged him $2k in labor to install the Lambo door kit (and WTF is a "GT factory Lambo door" on this car? ) and he paid them?

He's claiming $20,000 just in the body alone, not counting the interior or the ICE.

It could be an interesting show piece, but, while I admire the work, I think $20K could have been used a lot better on that poor 'lude.

I agree... I admire the work, but I don't care for the result.

At least he's not asking an obscene price for it. Gaudy mods aside, the car is in pretty good condition, obviously cared for. Probably doesn't have an H22 in it, but at least all the performance mods (which are very few... also good) are quality brands. It's not an unreasonable price to ask, at least.

He's been trying to sell that car for quite a while. Someone posted an ad up for it several months ago.

Edit: It was for sale in Sacramento, CA for $11K in January: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthre...rcedes+prelude

Interesting... so it went from CA to OH, and the price is halved. Still looks like the ad is suggesting the original seller. I wonder if he moved... or if it's a scam.

                  Let's find out!~

I've got a friend out of state that's been looking for a show car to tinker with. I showed him your link and he would like to have some more information on the car. Do you know which engine is in it? Would it be possible to see the car and possibly take a few pics of the interior and engine bay, as well as possibly some of the custom fitments? He'd appreciate it. I'd be glad to meet up with you if you'd be more comfortable protecting the vehicle's storage location.

                  Thank you,
                  Jon

That is almost totally bad ass. But not quite. It's so wrong in so many ways, but it's cool. I wouldn't drive it, but definetly props to the ingenuity and craftsmanship on this one.

                            I smell bullshit.

First of all I want to thank you for your interest for my car. I sell it at this price because i have just finished with my divorce . The divorce was finished six months ago and the car is mine now . After the divorce I had to buy a new house .
Following the financial crisis I can not afford to pay the bank and I decided to sell the car.
This car is in excellent working conditions, with no scratches, flaws or any kind of damage. The car comes with a clear title in my name .
The VIN is JHMBB1173RC001111 , you can check it on carfax. The car has 115200 miles.
From the beginning you have to know that for the payment I only request a secure pay method , I prefer the payment to be done using eBay services.
We will use a safe payment method because I am affiliated with eBay and I have a purchase protection account.
The final price that I want for this car is $4950. I will support shipping costs.
If you are interested in buying the car , please give me your full name and address so I can initiate the deal through eBay.
I will wait your answer(if you are interested to buy) very soon.
