ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.
2 of 2 < >

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

r32 was the first car i ever wanted.
even put my honda up for sale as soon as i got it as i didn't choose the car.

I"d have to take a 35 to a track to be convinced to ever buy one.
i always interchange the word 4wd awd. I'm talking about any active yaw.
their all mostly fine for most drivers.
the brake hard does apply to all of them if you take note of how long your on the accelerator for compared to a similiar rwd or fwd.
their not bad i just can't drive them personally.
haven't owned one just test driven.
I"m not saying their bad just not worth the effort and not that great for the most part.
If i crash my car's I'm done with driving fast and will probably buy an awd.
also they tend to look boring when cornering.
will probably never drive a bugatti in my life. and wouldn't be testing how many g's i could pull in corners unless i owned two of them.
currently theres no awd car I really want. unless it's ridiculously priced.

almost bought a stagea but changed my mind after researching the engine/gearbox problems and test driving a stock one.
still will get a stagea later on when i'm done modding the other cars.
just a cruisy car to haul stuff.

Why didn't you end up with the GTS-4/GTR (AWD) then? And why is it relevant? That is like me saying I almost bought a GT-R but didn't

You mentioned you wanted an economical car... hence your EX-i. So you didn't get it by choice or you did?

      http://www.rubicon-trail.com/4WD101/...e_4WD_awd.html

found the CRV vs. Subaru video

Different corners, different angles, different weight, different brake bias, different threshold, different lines, different drivers and trail braking. Theory vs reality.

currently theres no awd car I really want. unless it's ridiculously priced.

still will get a stagea later on when i'm done modding the other cars.

But again with the I'm gonna get but don't have yet. See where I'm going with this?

AWD boring when cornering? did you want to see it drift or something?

Your post makes my head hurt.

accord was given to me because i turned down every car offered.
great first car as its been in so many accidents and it eventually grew on me.
        great learning car.

simply put awd doesn't suit my driving style.
if someone wants to make an awd cb7 go for it. it will be unique.
maybe even be able to sell adapters and whatever else is needed if others want to go ahead with it.

I wouldn't want to be the first unless to try it.
unless you can get all the running gear from a wreck or a car with a blown engine.

I'd like to see the build. I highly doubt i could have it engineered and legal here if i had it done anyway.

just bored and i said i would.
for arguments sake i did a shake down lap at laguna seca. 2 laps.
1.50 for awd 1.48 for ff
ff tended to veer off the track more. and the accord doesn't have enough power to spin it's tires standard front wheel so not a chance in hell it would do it 4wd unless you have 200+ at the wheels hp
          base model ff 96' 184hp 1490kg
          accord wagon 97' 2.3vtl 4wd 164hp 1450kg
that's interesting as i thought a wagon with 4wd would be heavier. it's still slower.
and basically an even match as far as I"m concerned.
yes it's silly because it's based off a video game but o-well. gt2

I might've overlooked it, but has anybody posted the ratio's for the different CRVs?
              MRT
37.5 MPG, AC on, cruising at 80.
30.0 MPG, AC on, aggressively driving around 90.
27.5 MPG, no AC, cruising at 90 with occasional gridlock. 40 degrees Fahrenheit

I had a 86 civic wagovan with the push button 4x4 and 5 speed with super low. I tried to drive it into the ground and it just kept goin. The 4x4 worked great off road and in 2 feet of snow. I liked the push button 4x4, fwd full time but push the button and it was a true 4x4. When the rear end was locked in it was a little harder to turn cus it locked in possie. I wish i never sold it now.

why would you post that in this thread? that has absolutely nothing to do with AWD, cb7's, hondas, or anything other than well known rednecks driving in a circle.

He's spamming. It doesn't matter what thread he posts in... he just wants that link to register on Google to raise his pagerank, and to maybe get one or two people to click on it.

Of course, I now have his IP address. I can also look up his personal information from his website. I love spammers...

I think I might make a new section... to be used solely to sign spammers up on as many inbox-flooding mailing lists as we can!

racing adventure .com is the link he was whoring. (no spaces, but I deleted his links, so he's getting no backlinks from this site!)

That's the info for this guy. I'm sure the email is bogus. The IP may or may not be legit (that can be masked.)
If anyone feels like digging up more info... perhaps someone can tie that IP to the owner of that site.

theres a thread around not worth it unless you have a spare 20 large handy.
maybe more. or can custom fab parts yourself.
                          I'd want it over 4wd.

I thought you could make a car a 4wd with just a couple of driveshafts and modding the gearbox a little.

                          a constant 4wd nothing fancy.
