ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

That's all I wear... well, usually. I've taken to wearing Doc Martens lately...
But Chucks... yeah, I went to the prom in them, got married in them...

They're not as good now as they were when I started wearing them, back in the 90s. I got into them at the tail end of the "made in the USA" period. They really WERE better made when they were made in the USA!

ahh yes...chucks.. it is by far my favorite shoe I can wear with ease since I'm flat footed. my collection: two black on white low tops ( 1 for daily and 1 for lookn fresh) , red low tops, sailor jerry leather black on white mid, navy blue and grey high tops.

I have to say though 44 bucks for retail price is ridiculous though. when i bought my first pair it was 20.

Same here! I was pissed when they jumped to $30 (which was right around the time Nike bought Converse... ) The current pricing is absurd.

I was wearing before they were cool to wear way back when the cost 30 bucks. Now a days they charge 45. That's crazy in my eyes. But now I've gotten to wearing Vans. But I do need a good pair of chucks.

                        Not at all.

I met my (now ex) wife in highschool... where I wore a shirt and tie every day for my senior year, with black and white chucks.

We decided to go to the prom in chucks (on me) and flip flops (on her).

Then, being the sentimental fools that we were, we got married in chucks and flip flops.

We should've worn chucks and flip flops to the divorce hearing too... In fact, we might have.

lol, I don't know if it's appropriate to laugh but that made me chuckle.

I plan on where my fresh black Chuck's to prom as well. Already wore them for Homecoming and had a couple teachers tell me I look "fly"

Yeah, the style of chucks is so old, that they were oldschool even when "fly" was a popular term!

That stuff goes back to the WW2 era

I wore them from Junior year in high school, till sophomore year in college.
After that, my feet and my back couldn't take it anymore
