ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.
2 of 2 < >

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    Cigarette prices.

What do American smokes cost these days? Good Canadian smokes are up to over $14/pack.How easy is it to send smokes in the mail? I kinda understand that there are duty charges and shit that probably need to be paid when they hit the border. How does this work? Someone want to toss a pack of smokes in the mail for me? I'll paypal yah! haha.

Here in Asheville, NC, Cigarette prices vary depending on the brand, and the store that sells them. Just got a pack the other day for $3.70 and upward of $5.00 a pack.

I think your better bet is to take a road trip down to our states and on your way back, stop at the duty free and buy some cartons.

I do not smoke but saw an ad at a gas station for $8 a pack for marbs.

Too expensive of an addiciton for me... 2 packs a day for some.... $6,000. You could buy a nice car for $6k.... Even if you did one pack a day, $3k would do lots of mods to your car.

It really depends upon what area your in, like in the Seattle Area the average cost of cigarette's is between $9-10 for name brands. Down here in houston, a pack of smokes is about $5.50-6.50. You should look up your favorite brand, and if they got a mailing list, you should sign up as they are always sending coupon's in the mail, and other sometimes cool stuff.

Your best bet to find cheap smokes is to go online, a couple years ago, you could get carton's of Marlboro's for $25-30 online. They might come from Mexico, or the Philipines or wherever, and instead of 20 cigs a pack, you might get them in half-pack size, but you'll still get your full 200 cigarettes for a carton regardless.

Either that or learn to roll/stuff your own cigarettes.

Whew, I thought I was going crazy after i posted I saw $8 a pack and dysfunk said $5. But it would make sense since WA does like taxing all the "non-green" things up here.

              This.

You can get a decent electric roller for around 40 bucks or so, just have to buy cartons of filters and tobacco.. it's a cheaper alternative.. You can make your own blends!

In the past, I had almost bought a Powermatic II. I'm trying to remember what the site was that I saw the tobacco on.. It was a pound of tobacco for about 15 bucks.

Seems like it was Gold something....

CHANTIX ... Quit smoking in 5 days or less..

Newports were costing me over 5$ a pack, two packs a day, 70$ a week.... Garbage!
CHANTIX cost me 35$ for the first month prescription with a 15$ coupon from the CHANTIX website, and by the third day I had only smoked 3 cigs.. 5th day I tossed my half pack away... 5 months later cigg free...

I think its illegal to sell ciggs across state lines.. let alone to another country... See the doc, save your lungs, put some money in the CB! Fuck bitches, get Dubstep... LOL

Before I quit back in June 2010, I was paying about $5.50/pack.

You really don't need any other sort of drugs to help you quit smoking. All you need is the will and desire to live a healthier life. No drug can do that for you.

I quit myself for 6 months off straight will-power alone, but about a month after losing my job I said fuck it.

While I was quit, I had no problem taking my breaks at work and sitting outside and chatting with the smokers, it didn't bother me at all. I didn't become one of those anti-smoking nazi snob's. So being one because you quit, from my experience is not an excuse. We all know what the risks are when you smoke.

In other countries, the surgeon's general warning is also alot bigger, and different, heres thailand:

If you want to quit, sometimes it helps to wait until you get sick, and sleep through the first 24 hours, which should get most of the nicotine out of your system, and the worst part of withdrawals.

The fiance and I had quit off will power for a little over a year. She still doesn't smoke but I'll smoke the occasional one.. Depends on how stressed out I am. Plus, the new roommate is a smoker.. Kind of makes it harder.

I could not quit without the drugs lol... I tried.. get angry, depressed, irritated.. just because I was mad about quitting and I didn't want to.. I looove blowing smoke.. hookah, ganja... black n milds, specially my newports... I hated the idea of quitting. Once I started CHANTIX it was like I had no interest in smoke at all... Not a craving, no attitude, nothing.. I'm honestly amazed at what it did for me. I wish I had the will power you do sir but for smoking it wasn't there.. ciggs owned me.

In Ma they're about $8.50 on average. I go to a small gas station next town over and they sell them for $7.50 a pack. Sure the tax sticker is scratched off because he gets them out of state but hell it's cheaper so I don't really care. Also, I smoke 27s so there's always that dollar off sale most places. If they ever got to or over $10 a pack then I wouldn't be buying them anymore. I remember when $5.20 a pack was crazy expensive...I couldn't imagine spending $10 a pack. Let alone $14...yeesh.
