ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Did my first oil change on a Ferrari...

One of the shop owners brought it by for service...

    Lucky me

These were the only shots i got before he took off.

You know the actual Ferrari Service costs close to $1300! To change the brake fluid is near another $600! I looked it up and followed procedure to a 'T'...so he damn sure got his moneys worth.

Im just happy i got to work on and drive an F430 today, so i thought i'd share..

I read somewhere that having oil changes done at the dealer was a necessary step in maintaining the warranty on them. I guess 430s have been around long enough to be outside that warranty period, but then again, I may be wrong altogether.

I'd be afraid to even perform any work on it without sterile surgical equipment.

It was damn fun. Got to learn about Ferrari for 2 hours and then drive one. Now that's a good day.

A few years ago it was purchased used. No warranty as far as i know. And when someone hands you the keys to a Ferrari, you take them.

Mikey...dude...you would have LOVED to see how immaculate everything on this car was. This bitch is flawless. It was so clean in the engine bay you could eat off the block. I took my time and went through a ton of gloves and made a body condom to use when had to get in to warm it up...which was fuckin SWEET. The noise it makes is pure sex.

I agree with those that would be afraid to touch it... that would terrify me!

I don't think I could ever own a car like that. I'd love it, but I'd drive the piss out of it. And knowing Ferraris, the piss would run out in about 30,000 miles... when it breaks. I drive my cars too much!

I'll admit, i was a little intimidated at first...but how often does a Honda guy get to turn wrenches on a Ferrari? So i went balls deep.

He sold it yesterday! I guess that's why it needed the service. Some pilot flew himself in from Vegas and bought it after 5min of looking at it...now my Boss wants some badass 2013 Porsche...

I can't imagine what it's like to throw around that kinda dough....but i'd like to

Cool story. I can kinda relate. Never performed an oil change, but I did work at Ferrari for a summer.
