ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

did I hit a gold mine or just a few bucks???

so a good friend of the family was talking to me today he said he might have a few honda parts that I may want. apparently the guy that lived at his house before him worked on Hondas and left some stuff in a shed. b stuff has been there for a bout 10 years. after digging through it for a little while I came to find 3 ecu's, a new head still in plastic, and a motorc that looks like a remanufactured. the motor is in a cardboard box bolted do a wooden pallet. The motor is a D16Z6 and I don't know any thing about it. Will have pix in a bit.

The D16Z6 is the '92-'95 Civic EX/Si engine. If it's remanufactured then it would probably fetch $300-$400. Maybe more to the right buyer. The other stuff is impossible to judge without knowing exactly what it is. I say free Honda parts is a good mine regardless of the specifics.

I'm sure you don't need it in the beginner section . . .
                Careful.

It seems that the first round of pictures were posted as I was typing my first post. That's a D series head as well. The gauge cluster is out of a '90 Accord with a 5-speed. The P14 ECU is one from an H23A1 Prelude and the only one worth anything.

Did I ask to buy or sell anything? No. I just stated that's a part I need. But because it's in miles, it's no use to me.

                      Just saying be careful, Damn.

Because with a suggestion like that I can see the OP saying "Yep, how much"

I don't need to be careful when I clearly know the rules.
