ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Found some rare parts at yard today

I can't believe what I got at the yard today. I found clear/red 90-91 tails, 90-91 fog harness, and a heated mirror switch. Some may not think it rare, but here in KC I hardly find crap on our cars. Out at U-Pull in Liberty their were 4 or 5 SE's I went through with half decent interior door panels and such. I wish I could of found a decent set of SE door panels, I've been looking for a long time. Any one else every experience rare finds for their area?

When they do they usually post them in the junkyard goodies thread.

Well not really a rare find, but proof that if you keep an eye out you can find stuff cheap. I went to a local salvage yard a few weeks ago looking for a gauge cluster for my '92 EX Coupe. I busted the temp gauge on the original cluster. I found the NS gauge cluster for $40 out of a '93 which worked perfectly and swapped the gauge face into my original cluster. I also got the cup holder out of the same car since mine was broke. This one was dirty but worked perfect and they gave it to me for free. I asked about the trunk carpet that was in it and they said $10. I went back the following Monday and pulled the trunk carpet. Then the guy asked if I wanted to look at some other Accords, I said sure. He showed me a black '92-'93 EX 4 door that had the factory spoiler on it still. I asked him how much for the spoiler and he replied "we don't normally sell them off of good trunk lids". I said "how long has it been here and I have cash now, come on let's deal", he said how about $20. I said that's awesome!! We unbolted it and I grabbed the wire harness went back to the office, paid and mounted it that day. I have thought about going back and looking for more goodies. I called and asked about an H23 intake from a Prelude but all they had was an H22. I will keep searching though.

I was pretty happy when, after a couple years of frequenting three junkyards, I finally found a first-gen Odyssey to pull front knuckles from . Denver's one of the major cities in this country, yet the yards around there kinda suck for selection.
