ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

I bought my current computer last year after blowing up my old one by playing Diablo 3 (underpowered power supply, beefy video card, trying to run both Netflix and Diablo 3 on split screens... yeah... it literally blew up!)Originally posted by dhill_cb7 View PostI made a thread last year about Diablo 3. But that is the only PC game i play.
I play emulators on my PC more often than I play my Xbox360 or any of my older systems. I'm not all that big into regular PC games, though.

1993 Nissan Sentra M/T (front end damage, off road for now)

PCs all the way
Currently playing thru Spec Ops: The Line and Ghost Recon Future Soldier, though my fav single player games are definitely the Mass Effect series.
As far as MP recently I've felt too tired to be able to play well, but when I do I play Combat Arms and Blacklight Retribution (both free to play) and Battlefield 3.
Most of the games I play are also on consoles but I much prefer mouse+keyboard, as well as building my own systems.
My current rig is a watercooled Intel 2500k and an AMD HD 6870

I envy you. I have been wanting to do this for a long time. I never got to play the SNES games, but I remember owning the NES, GameBoy, and N64 releases. Man...Originally posted by deevergote View PostIt's funny... I still prefer the older games. I just played through the original Zelda the other day, and I loved it as much as I did when I was a kid. I think I might start on the A Link to the Past or Ocarina of Time tomorrow.
Oh, and on point: I've been a PC gamer for a long time, since before the XBox came out, around the time the original PlayStation was released. Q3A [Quake 3 Arena] FTW!Last edited by reklipz; 06-17-2013, 11:26 PM.

Been PC Gaming almost my entire life.
From a Pentium 166 w/32mb of ram, with a S3 Virge + Voodoo2
to a PIII 750 @ 870mhz, 768MB of ram, Geforce Ti 4600 (I still have it and it runs, sans the Ti 4600, as its got something newer now)
to my most current rig:
Intel Core i7 980x @ 3.33ghz (hex core)
Kingston HyperX 24GB DDR3
Dual SLI GTX-580's (I have a 3rd, but need a bigger case or to water cool it to fit).
The most taxing game I have played on my most recent rig that turns my computer in a space heater is Metro 2033, which reminds me, I need to get Metro 2034.
I can still overclock my rig, but there is no point as I still have plenty of horsepower to get the job done. I was able to push my 980x to 4.3ghz stable on air (with hyperthreading) while running prime 95.Last edited by cloudasc; 06-19-2013, 07:25 PM.
