PC problem helpp..

It start up and shut down fine...no problem during exploring Internet or playing music etc..but when i open a folder, right click, refresh the computer goes blank all destop icon, taskbar etc. all disappear then it appear back nornal again...
one more thing..I can't open Control Panel anymore..it pop ups error and then the pc went blank then back to nornal again....

any good program to remove this inffected worms

Ah, the one sure answer: reinstall Windows. Seriously though, I have 4 pcs now with XP and if something went THAT bad I'd just back up everything I wanted and reinstall Windows.

But if you want to try getting rid of whatever you have.. Install an antivirus program (if you don't have one already). I recommend AVG (it's free! and it works). And if it wont get rid of the virus but says what it is, Symantec's website works great and gives easy to understand instructions for the removal of most viruses. Looks like symantec's website has changed a bit since I was last there...But it's worth a shot!

I run all this:
Avast! Anti-virus, All-In-One secretmaker (for Intruder blocker), SpywareBlaster (for real time protection) SpywareGuard (also real time protection) , Firefox add-ons NoScript (say bye bye to banner ads!) AdBlock Plus, and VirusTotal.

I also run Spybot: Search and Destroy once a week and to Immunize my system if theres a new update, Ad Aware SE at least once every two weeks to keep my cache clean, and i also have HijackThis installed which is absically an easy Registry viewer in case i ever get in real trouble i can clean it up without going thru the DOS prompt.

By the way, all this software = free. I didnt like AVG, i mean, its a good program but if you run anything else it causes simultaneous run problems. At least it did for me and Secretmaker. But i love Secretmaker too much and Avast! works just great for me. Automatic updates FTW!

I used to pay $60 a year for Mcafee, but it pissed me off (it's kinda clunky), but now I just use AVG on 4 PCs, and I haven't had a virus for years! (Well..not one that's been on my computer for more then 2 minutes, lol). The ONLY thing I don't like about AVG is that it's interface is kinda crappy. But besides that it's one of the most popular free ones out there.

Sounds like somethings killing explorer.exe which is your graphical user interface to everything almost in windows. A good anti-spyware program/antivirus should detect if anythings there, if you run all these programs and they don't find anything, or if they find it and fix it the problem still persists, i'd reccommend inserting your xp cd, and tell it to do a repair, or reinstall windows ontop of itself.
