guy I worked with had a 6-speed...said he got it up to 80mph, had to shift insanely fast...took it on a drive on the road and got next to an suv...the lady just looked down like...wtf...he punched it and took off (before the cops came out) HA HA...those are AWESOME...even if they don't have 6 gears (which are very expensive!)

Well it seems to me that some of you didn't read my WHOLE post, or simply can't/didn't comprehend what I said. I'm not here to talk shit, or start problems. Just giving my experiences. I don't complain about the slow drivers... so why are you complaining about fast drivers, so long as we leave you alone, and don't cause any problems. Its a personal preference, I'd rather be moving faster than slower... thats the whole reason I started modding my Accord in the 1st place.

I've been driving daily for the last 8 years and have logged well over 200,000 miles. I've also seen plenty of other people make stupid mistakes and wreck there cars for absolutely no reason, other than that they couldn't react fast enough, or make the right decision, or they simply put themselves into a bad position/situation. I've never been in, or caused an accident. I know how to drive, and when, where and how to speed.

Some of you are quite ridiculous.

Did I ever say I do 100+mph to work EVERYDAY? No, I didn't. I do, on occasion, do excessive speeds on my way to work, when traffic permits, like I said in my original post.

Did I ever say "Traffic Disappears?" Too assume speeding has a direct relationship with traffic volume is ludicrous. Why would you even think that? I would figure that most of you are smart enough that I don't have to explain everything in infinitesimal detail, but I guess I was wrong.

Just because some of you aren't comfortable, or capable, of doing high-speeds, doesn't give you any reason to hate on those who can, do, and will continue to do so.

And by the way, for those with low cash flows who are worried about tickets, theres a company called Trafficare that will pay your speeding tickets for you, as well as your extra insurance costs for a monthly fee. They pay other tickets too, like wreckless driving charges (think sliding or quick lane changes).

Iv went 140 in my 90 coupe with f22a6...I was scared as hell because the stering wheel was shaking a bit...I wont be doing that any time soon until I get all new bushings, and completely redo my suspension...

You cant say are cars wernt ment to go fast, now saying they were never intended to go fast would be a more accuracte reply.

And people dont get in accidents because there going fast, people get in accidents because they dont know there limit, dont make descisiones fast enough, but most of all there lack of experience or stupidity.


If you put a 8 year old in a geo and put a govenor of 50mph on it, and someone with more experience driving fast could pull 140. The 8 year old would most likely crash before the experienced driver because of his inexperience or lack of judgement.

I think the governor is set at 118mph. I think I remember reading that on here somewhere...

i know im late to this lol but i disagree ... maybe its just my 1990 ex cb i have driven it 130 + it just kept going around when it passed 130... no general but then again mines was japan made... not us

I usually top out at 120 but it went 130 131 on the dyno!

Nails a good driver, So am I, so is my Mum, and so is the 1st year apprentice at my work. Why do you feel your driving is so special?

It doesn't matter weather you excessively speed everyday, or every other day, even every other week. Speeding is speeding and simply put you are putting unnecessary peoples lives at risk.
Yea you think your invinceable in your car, we all have at somestage, But to seriously think that your driving is THAT great, that you couldn't possibly hurt anyone in the process, is pure arrogance.
