ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.
2 of 2 < >

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

With everything that ive taken out so far which was the spare, jack, all panels in trunk, rear seats, its a noticeable difference. Its not like all of a sudden you're light enough to fly to the moon but in hard driving you'll notice you'll be pulling a bit harder than normal.

well i removed spare tire(donut style), jack and towing hook, that hook weighted somewhat 45-55lbs at least and that stiffened my rear, and not the good way, now my car handles corners far more better.

You have to take the steering wheel, turning signal and windshield wiper lever off (something the Haynes manual neglects to mention) remove about 15 screws, pull the dash out, and remove all of the wires that are attached to the dash with clips that don’t come off too easily. Be careful not to chip the dash or other components, that happens very easily, especially the plastic ring around the ignition switch, (I chipped mine to pieces).

So yeah, it’s kinda hard, but a little patience goes a long way.

you can strip off the plastic bump guards on the dooors and fenders,1 of your mirrors, ac system, go with carbon fiber on fenders, hood, trunk, there are about fifty stupid metal clips and holders in your engin bay that dont need to be there, get some lighter wheels, get rid of power windows/mirrors. thats about all I can think of. I have only shaved about 40 lbs. off my car but things I put on it when I widebodied it and molded my kit and shaved the sides and handles added a bunch of weight.

i was building a 91 integra for track races. i stripped everything out of it except the 2 front seats, and the gauge cluster. it dropped the weight down alot and it was noticable. but loud as hell. every little rock that hit the bottom of the car i could hear.

WINTER = HONDA UPRAGES - Last year was a HUGE suspension upgrade. This year its cockpit upgrades, brakes, wheels, and a possible tune and/or motor swap.
