Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

    Help On Emissions???

    DOES ANYONE KNOW IF I WOULD FAIL AN EMISSIONS TEST IF I HAVE AFTERMARKET HEADERS ON,OR EVEN AN INTAKE???...
    Taking it one day at a time since my cb got stolen and stripped of my mods..

    idk man i was wondering also,
    i took of my headers and i just have the intake on,
    i think imma have to do a smog chck this year i dindt do it last year soo i think this year is my due date,
    shit man i am from hollywood and crazy down here!!!!!!

      NOT TILL FEB. 2010 BUT WAS JUST WONDERING BOUT IT,IDK HOW cali rules are on those things so i just took off my intake last time i did mine,but just wanted to know when i get my headers..

        As long as both items have a carb legal sitcker or plate on them, you should not fail

          i failed my first test, i had headers,exhaust and an intake, i got a major tune up done and i bought this bottle from advance auto parts (Guaranteed to Pass Emissions Test Formula) i went again to take the test and i gotta admit i was skeptical about passing but i actually passed, next time i have to take the test is 2 years, but by then again my car will be historic(i think) so i wont have to take emissions any more

              Usually if their advertising says "50 State Legal", they would have the CARB plate (or sticker for the intake).

              DC Sport. Megan Racing, GReddy are a few that are CARB legal headers, and for intakes, AEM and Injen.

                thats what all that "make you pass" bullshit is.....ACETONE, they just don't tell you and you pay 30x as much.

                  I paid less then 10 dollars for my sure to pass stuff

                  but anyways I used the sure to pass stuff with a dc header and ebay intake and passed just fine. Just run it down the freeway a couple times.

                      This is true, in MA its not really a problem at least I've never run into it but I know how CA can be....
