ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

i want to know the max mpg i can get

well I want to know what others are getting when they have 350K miles on their engine....I have eveerything stock and getting about 22 miles city/highway combined so yea.....does anyone get better..and plus I have a stock DIY intake

    I'm getting about 25-27mpg combined.
    But, mines mostly city.
On the highways, the speed limit is 70mph, so that's not very mpg friendly.

    Edit: 245,000 miles.

I don't have that many miles on my engine, but I got 31mpg on a 110 mile highway drive with the a/c on.

I have an auto f22a1 with a6 runners, h23 plenum, bored out h23 tb, aem sri, and an axle-back exhaust.

            I have around 125k

If you do a full tune-up though you could probably improve it. I saw a huge milage increase when I did my IM swap and drilled out my egr ports.

Before that I was getting about what you are.

okay kool thanks for so much input im thinkin of bringin my cb in and do a full tune up when I get my suspension done...which would be 2marrow to get an estimate so when I ask for a full tune up what should most likely be included

oil change, tire pumped, idk what else would be done....

I was getting pretty close to 40 hwy on fresh rebuilt a6 head, transmission, new timing belt, water pump, fuel pump, and a few other new things. Now I'm still in the low 30's. This is doing 50-55mph.

usually does because of more weight... if you only fill up half a tanks repeatedly you might gain 1 or 2 mpg's

I wouldn't say they ADD mpg, just regain what should have been there in the first place.
