ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    front end question

Ok i am so pissed right now! I got into a bit of a fender bender due to unexperienced drivers and the rain. Long story short I hit my front right end of the car. Headlight= destroyed, hood= dented a little, fenders fine! OK that metal bar that holds the radiator supports behind the grill is twisted a little. Can this be replaced and what is this called? my grill is destroyed and i can get a headlight grill, corner light light but I want to know if that metal bar can be replaced. Is this called a cross member? Any help would be appreciated because i dont want to go to a collision shop cuz it doesnt seem that major. Suggestions? advice? I just want to get my car back to decent condition with honda day coming up and its my daily driver. On a side note I guess this is a good time to upgrade my grill and maybe get some one peice headlights!

if you can take pics that would be better but i'm pretty sure i've heard people being able to replace the radiator support "beam".

the grill should be a dime a dozen ( not literally) at the PnPs. i know i got a spare 9091 for less than 5 bucks at a local yard which i went DIY with the mesh with later.

The piece for the radiator is called the "radiator core support" i believe. And yes it can be replaced. The cross member to my understanding is what your front motor mount sits on.

Yes, correct. I just replaced my tranny a few months back and removed both the radiator support AND that cross member in the process. Find a U-pull-it type junk yard. probobly not to expencive and very easy to remove.
