ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/forumdisplay.php?f=144
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Isn't that in the distributor in our cars? Four short blinks, right?
You can't throw a code for a part you don't have unless you're not using the right ECU for your engine.

Yes, which I've already spoon fed him the link for it.Originally posted by lucid View PostIsn't that in the distributor in our cars? Four short
....but, I was ignored.

CODE 4 – Crank Angle Sensor.
Crank Angle Sensor – monitors the rotation of the crankshaft
What to do: Make sure the electrical connectors are on tight and properly connected. Make sure the position of the distributor is right that way it's supposed to be. If all else fails, replace the distributor and reset the ECU.

OK you possible dont understand the problem. I called HONDA, the manufacturer of the car and asked for any information on the crank position sensor. They started research, then concluded that in 1993 there was NO crank position sensor. So im not sure who to believe, a bunch of teenagers with nothing better to do then spend money on their car or honda motor company.

i cant believe you would believe a clueless employee at a dealership who has never worked on a CB7 before and only knows what the shop computer tells him, instead of listening to a website of thousands of CB7 enthusiasts who know EVERY detail about this chassis, and could help you in 2083974890 more ways than the dealership could. the only thing they are good for is for their parts department.
why would you come to us for help, if you dont believe us anyway?

OK, I'm a former honda technician, your car does have it, and yes it's in the distributor, I just checked on the honda network to confirm. (I still have access to their system). if you needed diagnostic info, let me know and I'll post it for you.Originally posted by vincent4334 View PostOK you possible dont understand the problem. If the dumb shit advisor didn't have a clue as to where to look, then he should get another job, and for the most part, I've found some of the "teenagers with nothing better to do than spend money on their car" to be as knowledgeable, if not more experienced than some of those so-called honda employees.Last edited by 4U2H8ME; 10-27-2008, 12:37 PM.
