ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    car is shaking bad

    Hi

I have 1991 accord Se, it has 94K on it.

I was trying to change tires, i took 2 front tires out so i can replace new one on.(Yes I was dump)while i was doing that, the Jacks tipped and my front car drop on the floor. from that day my car is vibrating really bad when it is on IDLE and REVERSE. I changed motor mounts and nothing happened. THE CAR RUNS GOOD , STRONG, just the vibrating is border me.

Is there someone know much about car can help me on this. thank you

Were the mounts properly torqued? Still sounds like a mount issue to me.

Neither of these will affect the car at a stop. OP claims vibration at idle and these only affect a moving vehicle.

OP - did you replace all the mounts? Tranny as well? When you drive the car do you get any other symptoms? If you are driving in reverse, does it lessen or increase with additional speed?

I dropped my car off the jack while it was in my driveway.

Nothing happened but a slight dent on the rotor, runs the same as it did before.

I replaced good suspension and new balljoints and all.

I replaced the front motor and rear, not tranny mount

it runs very good strong, smooth shift, just when i start hit on the brake, i get vibrating very strong after i stop completely it vibrating little.

I i put in REV mod it's vibrating very strong

I'm thinking tranny mount, because when i shift to any gear it gets vibrating

I don't think ball joints would effect on shifting gears or the car is not moving

You said you dented the rotor? that explains the vibrations while braking.

I replaced new rotors and brakes,

I hit the brake the vibrating from the engine bay,

it's vibrating when i try to warm up the car, it's from engine

I repace front motor mount, but not all

Ok, when you dropped the car the engine wanted to keep going down to the ground and the motor mounts absorbed all that energy, way overloading them is my guess. So I'd go along with you and say replace the transmission motor mount and possibly the rear one. But definitely the transmission mount. Get one at the junkyard and put it on.
