ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    changes??

ok if a engine swap is present in a car what are things that are going to change if parts are needed to be ordered for example does the clutch have to be from prelude if u got a h22a in ur cb7?? im a noob at this so excuse me if i sound retarded

Most of the replacement parts you'll buy will be from the Vtec Prelude. The year depends on the year of your engine, but generally it will be from years 92-95.

lol you dont sound retarded and you are posting in the right section. This Sticky should be a good read for you.

Have questions or info concerning engine swaps? Post here! This is the place to post any questions regarding engines that did not originally come in the CB7 (H22A, H23A, F22B1, etc...)

The clutch is the same for the H22 and F22.

              Axles are Accord axles.

Spark plugs, distributor parts, and anything otherwise attached to the engine will be for the Prelude.

pritty much everything from a prelude will fit... but theres a few things you need to figure out first,
what year moter, and trans and what your puting it in.

i had bought my h22a (94) b4 i had even had my car.. it was 2 be 5 speed...
bought a 91 lx wagon 5spd... everything is just about the same...

axels and half shaft are the same, moter mounts except for the tranny mount are all the same.

so in a nut shell.. wire the harness first, (get your self the service manual for both cars) you have 2 add 4 wires for the vtec. and change the computer.
you will need to leghthn a few ends... as the head is larger on the h22 compaied to the f22

Im runing lude axels in my accord right now... the half shaft very's from witch axles you want to the run... the half shaft will be ither male or female,

the engine ignition, will all be lude conected to the harrness of the accord.

when i got my engine it was complted engine and trans, partial wire harness. and Ecu

its not that hard... its really eazy if you have all your info right.. b4 you start.

almost forgot... JDm and Usdm... had diffrent coil setups. or something like that... i found out after i had got it all together...
i still dont know what the bottem line is, bot some of the accords and some of the ludes had internals coils. and others had external coil..

not that hard to fix.. i tried, both setups.
                  91 wagon,
