Hey. My 93 CB7 had an odd idle issue. When I first start it up, most of the time it does this idle revving from 1000 to 2000 back and forth for like a minute. After like 2 minutes it will sit at 1100 or so steady and act perfectly fine. I think it's just cold or something, but it seems weird. Like a "vroom.. vroom.. vroom.. vroom.." If I start driving everything is perfect, but if it's in neutral it will still vroom vroom until a 2 minutes or so.

ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:
Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

It's your FITV, do a search, there are plenty of threads on this topic.Originally posted by n1ce_hat View PostHey. My 93 CB7 had an odd idle issue. Welcome to the site. You'll find a lot of information here. EVERYTHING you could want to know and more. To make things easier on everyone, it's suggested that you make use of the search function in the upper right on the tool bar. In the beginner section, we help you out though. Try this link for idle issues.
Any questions regarding performance, maintenance, or repair belong here. If you want to go fast, or just change a flat... this is the place to ask!
Check the stickies, You can't just tell newbies to search, it's a banning offense.Originally posted by Grin0048 View PostIt's your FITV, do a search, there are plenty of threads on this topic.

Sorry about that, I'm going to have to work on my searches.
Now, the link you provided has great info but they just constantly say "the photo below is.." but there are no photos. It's an antique thread, so i'm not going to lose any sleep over it, but maybe there is a more helpful one.
I'll... search for it!
edit: No, that thread is very helpful after reading through the whole thing.. But the first page's photos not being there was discouraging.Last edited by n1ce_hat; 02-14-2009, 06:02 PM.'93 CB7 LX 5-speed
