ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

Does the 90-91 cb7 have a kill switch.....

that cuts off the fuel when you get in a wreck? I dont know if it has one or if one of my grounds got knocked off or something because now it wont do anything when the key is turned on. Some queef nugget pulled out in front of me and I t-boned him, he didnt have insurance, I had liability only since its just my dd. So Im left to fix this myself. I've started to disassemble it a little bit, the rad support is pushed back into the alternator. Any input is greatly apreciated.

see that's the thing that pisses me off, guys like us who follow the law and have insurance, then asshats out there drive around without it and think it's ok fuck it up for everyone else.

honestly i would have just gone into one of my rages right there and smashed his head in with my breaker bar, then dumped his body in the dumpster behind the UDF.

Chances are a ground probably broke because most fuel cut offs are in the rear because thats where the fuel tank is located.

When I got my prelude out of a junkyard (as a builder), it had been in a front end collision and did not start. We were looking at it before we bought it, and the core support had gone into the alternator. It didn't damage the alt, just hit the power wire and shorted out. We talked the guy down because it didn't start, got a good price, and then fixed it. All we did was pull the core support off of it and then replaced the big 80 Amp fuse in the fuse box. Car started right up, drove it onto the trailer.

tl;dr: Check your main power fuse (80 or 100 Amp) in the fuse box.

                      1. Be a snitch and rat the guy out if he refuses to give you his info.
                      2. Sue him if he refuses to pay out of his pocket. Shit, our cars are not that expensive.
                      3. You have a clean slate now, time for a new project?
