apexi ws2 problems

i have a 92 accord ex coupe with a F22A6 with intake, header and the apexi world sport 2 exhaust, my problem is that when i open the throttle it sounds kind of rice like a melon launcher exhaust. the gaskets are about a few months old. if you guy have any ideas on what this could be i would greatly appreciate the help

I dont know what that sounds like. Give some more details or post up an exhaust clip. We will be able to give ideas with more details. BTW, Is Countryside IL by Chicago???

yea im by LaGrange and I-55 but it only sounds like that when the car is in motion is sounds kind of raspy. but only when you open the throttle all the way.

hmmm. it could be a rattle from loose bolts.... hows the cat?

that should be your problem right there, because i've got the WS2 also, catco direct fit cat, and the Megan Racing header but it's quiet as hell unless i got on it then it only has a slight rumble.

maybe i should try driving behind it also?

i had a header and a test pipe and it wasnt raspy at all.

once i ran a custom 2.25 piping with muffler, the header was what gave the raspiness.

I have the same system install just few weeks ago and nothing seem to bother me at all.........

well my set up is generic intake with K&N filter, dc sport header, stainless steel test pipe so no cat, apexi ws2 cat back exhaust. i drove behind my car today while my brother drove it and it sounds like its coming from the muffler portion

He had TEST PIPE. That was the problem.
