ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Need Help!!!!!!car problems

I have a 91 accord with 251,xxx on it and i washed the engine bay like 3 days ago and it started to sputter when it was driving it and it went away after i dryed the plugs in the bay but i also thought it was cuz it was low on gas but like is said it went away....so when i was driving it today it got low on gas and it started to sputter and it sounded like the car was deprived of gas and the exhuast sound super deep and so then i stop it driving it like for 30min or so and it went away but when i was almost home it did it again but when i got home it went away.....so i am super confused is it the injectors that are dirty or is it that a sensor is bad or is it that i have water somewhere in my lines.....please help me out cuz i am lost

Probably got water inside your distributor. Take off the cap and clean everything thoroughly with a dry towel

You stated "it got low on gas". Is this true what you said?? Then thats your problem.

yeah , I'd pull the dist. clean that out , air it out as well. Even moisture build up can make it run rough. I'd wire brush the contacts too as well , maybe you'll even notice it running smoother than before.

the contacts on what ? i think i am going to do that tommorrow but if thats the problem would it go away and then come back ? its been 4 days since the wash i was thinking it might be the fuel filter that got dirty ?

and yes i did pump gas but it still did it after i filled it up

The contacts in the distributor. There are 5 in the cap, and you probably need to clean up the rotor also (also in the dizzy, you will see it when you take the cap off; other than the coil (if it's internal coil) it's the only thing you will see).
