Problems With The Vehicle Speed Sensor...

My Speedometter Is Not Working, My Odometer Isnt Working And My Mile Counter Dosnt Work Either. I Turn My Car To Drive It And It Drives Finebut I Cant See How Fast Im Going Then After About 7minutes My S Light Starts Blinking And 7 Minutes After That My Check Engine Light Turns On And Stays On.
Anybody Know Whats Wrong I Thinks Its My Vss But I Dont Know Were It Is Or How Much It Cost Or If I Can Do It My Self Or What!!! Help Any Boddy!!!!!

it is on top of the transmission and look the part up on autozone.com to see what it looks like...fairly simple to do if you have any mechanical skill

Your sig is too big. 300 tall, 800 wide, including text, pics, whatever is in it. If Deevergote gets in a mood, you could lose sig privileges. I'd recommend reading the stickies at the beginning of each section, they'll save you a lot of questions and time. And please try not to use the caps all the time, it makes your posts difficult to read, which will keep a lot of members from even bothering.

its on the top rear of the tranny, if your lookin at it from the front of the car. its the only sensor that plugs and unplugs. should be 3, 10mm or 12mm bolts to take out and replace the sensor. autozone willl have one or your local junkyard should have one too. real simple fix.

So i tried looking for it pulled a couple of cables apart. and found this;



So this is the location of the cable.. was i looking at the correct one? Or should i keep looking?

no that is not the speed sensor. it is in the back its a little bit under the thermostat housing its the youd have to remove the intake to get to it better.

so i looked in my engine bay.

right behind my intake on the bottom and found

This a little clip but i dont know if this is it every one says diffrent! anybody know if this is the one????
