ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    if you got a ride

you can take proof of purchase like your title to Honda and the VIN number and they'll cut you a new key.

You can fuck up your car easily doing this and I only know because I did it to my eclipse lol. Take the claw part of a hammer and put it in the seam of the door. Make damn sure you use a towel or something to pad it that way you DON'T scratch your car (like I did pretty badly being pissed at it) and then pry back ever so gently until the coat hanger makes it past the weather stripping. I'm sure you can figure out the rest from there. I had to have a locksmith cut me a new one before and it was 80 dollars. A friend of mine that used to run a wrecker service had a little bag that he would put in the door and then inflate it and it would push the door open enough to get the hanger or another tool through but for a one time use I would just be easy with the hammer and do it that way. You could always have a friend sit there with both hands pulling out on the door and that works too. It's a bitch sometimes but you can make it happen.

Do you have any CB7 owning friends around? Very often, one CB7 key will open another car... I have yet to find one that does that, but I know it can be done.

Take any paperwork you have with the VIN on it to a Honda dealer and the parts department will cut you a new key for 2 bucks or less. I have done this many times, you'll even get a "H" key if the dealer is good.

I used to could open my friends CB7 and even crank it up if I jiggled the key enough. But yea take your title to the Honda dealer and let them cut you key homie.

use a flat head screwdriver wrapped in a towel. stick it in the upper right corner of the window.. careful not to chip the glass.. gently pry the window outward off of the weather stripping. use both screw drivers to work toward the front of the car. once you can get your fingers in just pull the window outward carefully as not to bend the regulator and wah-la stick your arm in and unlock it. once in slowly roll down the window slip it back into place in the weather stripping. go up and down a few times to make sure it is on track..
