like it says i have no heat in my car. ive checked my knob and im going to check my cables and everything else, but im guessing the heater core is cloged or bad. i had a coolant leak and put in around 2 containers of those radiator stop leak. later i found out the leak was coming from my weep hole on my water pump, so my question remains.. do you think thats what colgged my system up? should i do a flush?

yeah sorry forgot to mention that, the air blows cold on hot and cold. no difference in temp.Comment

did you fix the leak? does the engine run at normal operating temperature? does it warm up in the normal amount of time? first thing i'd do if you fixed the leak, filled the system and still have no heat is take the hoses off the heater core and try flushing it out. that stop leak crap sucks.Comment

If you put stop leak crap in your radiator, then your heater core is clogged. I made that mistake myself before I knew any better.
$100 to replace a leaky radiator turned into $300 to have a shop replace my clogged heater core. Fun.

Behind the dashboard. It's a PITA to get at. You have to pull the whole dash.
I hate pulling dashboards.

everything is normal other then no heat. i think im just going to try a cooling system flush and then take a garden hose to the core and try to flush that. i hope i dont have to replace that sh!t..Comment

i also just checked the valve controll cable going under the passenger side dash and on the other side of the firewall and everything is moving smoothly.Comment
