ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

i have h22 with a p13 ecu no check enigine light? only hitting 6.500 rpm and bounceing off of it like f22 ? running everything for the h22 running dizzy off the jdm motor interal coil but running wiring harness i added the wire for vtec and knock and vtec presure sensor wtf please help why

What tachometer is that reading from? Stock I would assume....? But also know that an H22 won't rev past a certain RPM until the motor is fully warmed up, unlike the B-series motors.

do you have a ground for the vtec?and do you have enough oil? is it low by any chance? Is your vtec solinoid filter clean? and has the temperature reached normal operating conditions. That would be a reason why your vtec does not engage.

Are you reving it from a stop? because that limiter is supposed to do that so you dont blow your motor but if your racing and it does that without going into vtec and getting cut short then id check what i what i mentioned above.

I don't see anything in his post about VTEC not working...Just not running up to redline, which should be around 72-7400. Is your VTEC working or not?

Your temp gauge should be just under half for proper operating temp.

Things are only going to get confusing if you keep making new threads.

Your ECU is OBD2, or at least it seems that way from what you said in your other thread. A picture of it would help to determine for sure.

Get yourself an OBD1 P13, and make sure everything is wired correctly. Make sure your CEL works (as in, make sure the bulb isn't blown out). Make sure your oil level is correct, and that you have proper oil pressure. VTEC will not engage if your oil pressure is low.

If VTEC is not engaging, I believe (I can't say 100%, because it's been forever since I've actaully dealt with it) that it will not rev to the redline of a properly working H22. You really don't want to be trying to redline an engine that isn't functioning properly anyway. You could fix this problem, only to realize that you've created another one!

                        No.

Get an OBD1 P13, or don't drive the car.

It was also in response to a PM from the OP.....

Without knowing you have the proper OBD1 ECU troubleshooting is pointless. Like mentioned above, post some pics of it if you need to know if it's an OBD2 or OBD1. Then go from there
