ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

One went from the condensor into the lower portion of the radiator and another small black pipe that wasnt insulated went from the firewall to the top portion of the radiator

Well my a/c has not been working for a while. I suppose there is a leak in the system somewhere because ive had it filled with freon but it would stop cooling in a few days time. In addidtion a/c usually causes headaches for me so i ride with the windows down anyway. Im keeping everything else but the a/c and maybe cruise control are gonna go.

I love my cruise control. It has saved me LOTS of money from not getting speeding tickets

But I aggree with you on the A/C. I don't use it and have been contemplating taking it out for two years haha. It doesn't get TOO hot here in VA. I can handle a 100 degree day on the highway with the windows down.. otherwise if it's that scorching, I'll be whipping the Pilot with auto temp control. OH YAH!

There lines going into my radiator (91 auto dx) are the upper and lower radiator hoses, and the transmission cooler lines. No A/C lines ran into my radiator. As for the holes in the firewall, I took the gasket that the hoses went through, cut some thin plastic to shape, painted it black, and RTV'ed them in place. Though new plugs can be purchased through Honda or online.

This is the plug you need to nicely fill the hole in the firewall, from 90-97 DX accords.

I think its about $5 from a Honda dealer if you cant find one in the junkyard.

if the piece your talking about is a long tube with circular cooling fins around it, that is your power steering cooler.

Automatic accords have a tranny cooler built into the radiator. Manual accords have the radiator, condensor, and power steering cooler, in that order, from the engine forward. You would never have an a/c line going to any other cooler than the condensor. Unless you're gonna delete your power steering, don't remove the cooler for it. Leave that alone.

Other items to remove would be the reciever/dryer, and the evaporator under the dash. You can replace the evap unit with the center duct from a dx accord.
