ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

sometimes you have to reverse polarity in the stock wires. if the above ^^^ does not work, take some extra wire and see if switching polarity works. thats what i had to do on one of mine, and what my instruction manual told me to do.
i wish i only had to turn the bulb around rather than having to cut and turn the wires around
i really do hope that your problem is not that you have to flick the lights on and off to get them to work, because that means you may have to do that every time, and after awhile it can get annoyingLast edited by KB7; 05-22-2010, 08:55 PM._

yesOriginally posted by ingold View Postso your saying on my stock headlight harness, cut the wires and switch the pos and neg?
according to the instruction manual i recieved, (ebay kit, non digital), one of the trouble shooting things i had to do was switch polarity.
stick two wires in the oem connector, then connect them to the hid setup in a reversed fashion, then have a friend turn your lights on while you hold the wires carefully. if it works then switch polarity of your oem wires, if not you may need to wait until monday and call customer service
waiting two days is not a BAD thing, theres people on here waiting many months prepping their car to be drivable again_

Check to see if you are getting 12v at the feed into the ballast - you may have accidently blown the fuse.

so I guess I didn't swap the ballast over. but I swapped it over just now and I have a bad ballast. that's why that side didn't work. I swapped the good one to the pass. side and it works. problem solved
