ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

If they're clicking, they're doing their job and your problem lies elsewhere. Is the engine turning over? What are the symptoms?

Have you checked fuses? connections, grounds? Is it an auto or manual?

Major grounds, battery cable, engine to body, etc. Are you sure the battery isn't almost dead? Do the headlights come on good and strong?
Also look under the dash and see if anything behind the clutch pedal looks busted or loose. If the clutch safety switch isn't working, that could be your problem. Especially since the starter is good. It's hard to diagnose a no start over the internet.

you said its a manual so have you tried popping the clutch to start it? have you checked for spark and fuel? is the starter cranking? i ask this to find out if its properly connected. have you ever had a problem with it not starting before?

it is hard to tell what you took that picture of. it is pretty blurry to me and i cant see what else is around it.

i believe he is asking about the battery to make sure you have enough juice to start the car.

by popping the clutch i mean start it rolling with the car in 1st gear but your foot on the clutch pushed to the floor. then when you get going a little bit you very quickly pull your foot off the clutch pedal and the car should start.

if you do this and it the car starts and continues to run you know you are getting fuel and spark if the engine keeps running. so after you pop the clutch does the car continue to run or does it shut off again?

the car still runs after popping the clutch. it runs like a champ after that. it just wont start by turning the key.

Check your relays under there. A failing relay can give a clicking noise.
