ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

    Flex pipe question

How large is the outlet size on a stock flexpipe. Im about to get some headers with a flex pipe but there is different size from 1.75-2.50. I have a 92 Honda Accord LX 4door and the piping is stock

dont waste your money on a cheap header, your better off with a exhaust manifold and flex pipe off a f22a4

you could also find a whole exhaust system for pretty cheap on ebay. its a good start if u just want something quick, i have a set but i got mine due to having a bad exhaust leak when i first got the car...most muffler shops were charging me $700 for new stock exhaust so i decided to get a nice $200 ebay exhaust and slapped it on myself....by the way what part of CT you at? im in new haven

with those 60$ headers. you loose power. the flanges are too small. they offer nothing but a cheap look. now if you get one and have it ported. re-welded for minor leaks. then buy 12 more and repeat. because they will rust faster than than my wife says, wow your already done!?!?!?!? but if you want something that will give you a little bump of hp DO get the oem f22a4 header. plus your not turbo or anything forced induction so a flex pipe on a stock f22a1 will do nothing.

I already called the junk yards around here and they dont got any thats why im just gonna get the cheap headers becasue it comes with a flex pipe which i need badly. I just keep getting pulled over for the noise of the flex pipe. So my question is how large is our stock exhaust pipe
