ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!
Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956
Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)
Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.
These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.
1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.
2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.
3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.
4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.
The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.
The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Which one on Ebay?
Theres literally 1000's of them on that site and Ebay doesn't make any of them.
A well made strut bar will stiffen the chassis, resulting in less flex.
Which in turn, creates better handling.

ebay does not make parts.
Generally "ebay" is used synonymously with "cheap shit"... so you're asking if "cheap shit" parts are good?
At the very least, get a Megan Racing bar. Anything less will bend, and do absolutely nothing.
If you don't want to spend money, then don't modify your car. If you just get the cheapest possible parts, you're going to be dissatisfied with the performance, and if you cheap out on some things, you may damage your car, or make it very unsafe to drive.
You don't need to spend top dollar to get the best... but get parts that will perform the intended function safely and properly for your needs. A $25 strut bar... will not do that.

There are good new and used name brand parts that can be purchased through Ebay. Like this forum you need to learn how to use the website and the website's tools to its fullest. And you need to know who to buy from.
For example I bought a used DC Sport front strut bar for $50.00, new DC Sport rear strut bar for $60.00 and new DC Sport lower rear bar for $30.00 for my cb7 over 7 years ago. It took some time to find these deals but they are there to be had.
But the first thing I ever did to my suspension was to make it reliable. Remember you're driving a 20 year old car, so some parts are not going to be in the best shape. Bushings, ball joints and boots should be your focus at first. There are plenty of DIYs on this site to cover this stuff. If you have a few bucks to spend then upgrade to energy suspension bushings. You will be surprise how much better your car will handle after updating the suspension.
Too many guys here either cheap out or cut too many corners and then are surprised when their 20 year old car is falling apart around them. Remember, this car if taken care of will last you a very long time.Last edited by Tishock; 10-20-2010, 08:58 PM.

some very good ideas in here. if i were you "and i should have done this" i will start replacing old parts in the car. things like bushings, now they might get a lil expensive but save the money $50 for the braces and $20 here and there and you will have all the money for the bushings. then put a rear sway bar, again that is expensive but you will save, then buy the esp shock tower braces. once you have finished buying all this, then you will come back and thank us. do it smart and in the end no matter how expensive the parts will get, you will still save money. saving $20 per week saved up will take you a long way.are we there yet are we there yet are we there yet
