ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

I need a link for swap info

I'm not a newby to the scene but this is my first accord... I have a 91 accord with f22a6 auto tranny... I am wanting to keep the auto tranny... I just want to do a h23a1 swap... If I have a h23a1 that came off of an auto tranny I need to know what all it would take to put that motor in my accord... if someone can steer me in the right direction with a link or some help I would truly appreciate it... and I'm stuck on the h23a1 and keeping the auto tranny so please dont try to convince me on using the h22a or doing a 5spd swap... thanks fellas...

I thought that they only had the a1 in 91 cars... or the a4... the a6 is 93...(in which case, there was a swap done to the car already.)

I did the swap from the a1 to an a6 myself. It was a lot of fun, and I learned way too much about my car... good luck swapping to an h

Please, read the stickies. The information is already out there (including which engine came in which model car) You can even read in the big kid section, but not post.

This should prove to be a big help as far as your swap goes.

Follow the directions for the H22 swap, but leave out the part about the VTEC wiring. Everything else is pretty much the same.

I think automatic might be easier. I don't believe transmission tapping is necessary... though I don't know for sure. send a PM to excalibur02. I know he has an auto H22, which would mount the same as the auto H23. Use the Prelude transmission and TCU (transmission computer) to get the most of the swap (the Accord transmission and TCU will work, but it won't shift in the right places to make the most of the engine.)
