ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

    Would PWJDM PowerChambers fit?

would any of the PWJDM line of PowerChamber's fit on an F22A1 CB7?
i need an intake so i was wondering if these would work.

    if not..
anyone know of any intakes that actually increase power?
cause i'd rather not do the work for nothing..

Yes but you will have to get a smaller battery or located to the trunk.
Few member got them for their CB..

Just like any short ram intake... it does make power, you will have to tune it to get a real...realistic hp but normally a short ram put down about 2-5 hp no tuning.

As far as I know you can use the H22 intake but like the guy above me said you'll have to move the battery.

You'll need to run a power wire, at least 4 guage or bigger, from the trunk up to the engine bay to the same place that it goes to right now. You'll also need a battery box/proper ventilation for the battery if using the stock one. Batteries give off hydrogen gas so this needs to hae a way to be routed to the outside of the car. Ever hear of the hindenburg? This is hydrogen gone bad. Other than that you just need to ground it to a good spot in the trunk. It's pretty straight forward.

There is a guy here in town with one in his 92-95 Civic I was going to buy, it fit quite nicely, considering it wasn't made for the cb chassis. I also have an h22, and deleted the map sensor box and relocated my battery.

Run a wire from the fuse box under the hood to the starter, run a wire from the starter to the trunk (or where ever you decide to mount the battery) then ground it. It's super simple. Just make sure when you run the wire thru the firewall you use a hole with a rubber grommet, or use one to keep the wire from being cut. Also, you'll want to have an inline fuse somewhere on the power wire, just to be safe, I did. And I wouldn't use any wire smaller than 4 gauge.
