ANY BUYING/SELLING IN THIS FORUM WILL RESULT IN AN INSTANT BAN!

Read the rules: http://www.cb7tuner.com/vbb/showthread.php?t=43956

Myself, and the other mods have been very nice and lenient with the rules. We have been deleting threads, and giving out warnings. Some members didn't get the clue and re-posted over and over... Now ANY member buying or selling in this section will be banned... No IF's AND's or BUT's.

Beginner Forum Rules - EVERYBODY read! (old and new members alike!)

Beginners start here. Once you have 30 worthwhile posts (off topic doesn't count) you may post outside of the Beginner forums. Any "whoring" (posting simply to raise your post count) will return your count to 0, or result in a ban.

These are the rules. Read them. Live by them.

1) Absolutely NO flaming! "Flaming" is an outright attack on a member. ALL questions are encouraged to be asked here, no matter how basic. Members with over 30 posts will be subject to a ONE WEEK ban if caught flaming in this forum (and yes, moderators can read deleted posts). Members with under 30 posts will be subject to a ONE DAY ban.

2) Use appropriate language. Racial or sexual slurs will not be tolerated. A ban will be issued at the discretion of the cb7tuner.com staff.

3) No items may be sold in the Beginner forums. Any "for sale" threads will be deleted.

4) Temporarily banned members will be PERMANTLY banned if they are found posting on another account.

The rules can and will be added to. Any updates will be marked in the title.

The rules for the overall forum can be found here:

Read them. You will be expected to follow them.

no, it has never been done on a cb7. lots of bench racing, and a few people got a few parts, but nobody actually built anything. the jackson racing supercharger kit for the h22 would hit the firewall on the accord, that is one of the main reasons that it hasnt been done.

and if it doesnt look clean, its just because whoever put it in didnt try hard enough.

Love the sound of this vacuum cleaner.... specially at the 8-10 second mark

I'm a to turbos kind of guy. I love the wine of a SC or the sound of N/A. The Jackson SC is a mess to fit in the Accord chassis, however I think a Paxton side mount SC would be the way to go on an Accord. Hook it up on the back side under the intake manifold where no one can see it.

Ok guys, So last night (after driving my granparents '08 kompressor for the entire day) i told my self "i definetly know what i'm going to do *super hero intro voice*....SUUUPEEERCHAAARGEEER".

Either DOHC F20A or DOHC F22B with an SC14.

Now this wont be done now, as i am navigator in training and will being out to sea for 6 months pretty soon.

So after doing some research. i found this------------>

                  http://www.preludepower.com/forums/s...=303997&page=2

This guy did it to his BB4 prelude with an H23. Unfortunately he didn't give details has to how its done (selfish bastard). Although he did said, it was somewhat simple as long as you have the tools BUT! the hardest part was to make a bracket for it to be held in place without any obstructions to the SC belt. I believe he placed he's SC under the alternator and that he didn't really push it over 10 psi. And also it's basically impossible to Run A/C with the SC14 (if some one can Find a way before i do, PLEASE LET ME KNOW). So all those guys who don't care about their a/c or have done a a/c delete this is definetly a plus for y'all

Now for guys like me who live in places that has scorching heat and heavy rain with windscreens getting fogged up, well.... *sigh*... we're screwed.

So talk to me guys, this does sound plausible. people having been doing it to all vw's from MK1 to MK3. and people have looked into it on other model cars and hear we have it on a H23. Progess seems to be made

It has been done at least once in a CB7. I've seen the video, and it was recently discussed (probably in the link posted above...)

A supercharger takes more custom work than a turbo setup, and there is far less documentation to go on. However, it is doable. Basically, if you have to post a thread saying "can it be done and will it be fast?" then chances are you don't have the knowledge, experience, ability, creativity, or understanding to make it work... so... go turbo, or buy a different car with a supercharger.
